Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics (STEAM) education in the era of 4IR emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach that is aimed at creative problem-solving in real-life settings. This approach is aligned with global trends in education and is seen as an important innovation for skills development for the future workplace. In response to these trends, the GMMDC has, since 2017, integrated a STEAM approach in its Mathematics and Physical Sciences development projects in schools.
